Mallorca’s Green Michelin Stars
Demonstrating local island chefs’ commitment to sustainable produce, there are three Green Michelin starred restaurants in Mallorca:
Can na Toneta, Caimari, run by Mallorquin chef Maria Solivellas with her sister Teresa.
Ben’s d’Avall, Soller, with Mallorquin chef Jaime Vicens.
Genestra, Llucmajor headed up by Andreu Genestra.
“The quality of gastronomy in Mallorca has developed into one of the most exciting and varied destinations to eat in the Mediterranean. It’s also great to see local talented chefs coming through each year producing menus and dishes using the very best of home-grown local produce.” comments British chef, Marc Fosh who has retained the Michelin star for his restaurant since 2013.
