11 Michelin Stars in Mallorca

The island is now a leading gastronomy destination in the Mediterranean

 

Palma de Mallorca, November 29th, 2022. A new Michelin starred restaurant was named in the recent awards ceremony; Fusion 19 in Playa de Muro (north Mallorca) headed up by a young chef from Palma, Javier Hoebeeck, has joined Mallorca’s growing list of stars.

The island’s leading British chef, Marc Fosh, first won a Michelin star for his restaurant in 2002 comments: “I am delighted that we have another star on the island, which underlines the fact that Mallorca is increasingly becoming a leading destination for gastronomy tourism. Today, there is outstanding local talent creating excellent cuisine with premium local produce in Palma alone we have four Michelin star restaurants which is great news for the capital.”
